If you had any experience observing court proceedings, or any honest knowledge of the process, you would know that courts often get it wrong. Yes, it may be a fact that the judge ruled one way or another, but that certainly doesn’t make the ruling factually correct.

I’ve witnessed a clever (of course, dishonest) lawyer perpetuate a lie on a court that resulted in a completely unjust ruling that cost the defendant a huge amount of money, and another similar result, solely due to prejudice on the part of the judge.

Resisting document production and appealing rulings in a politically motivated witch hunt is pretty rational behavior. One can only imagine the support you would be throwing behind one of your lying democrats in a parallel situation.
