Although the Democrats tried to make it appear differently, President Trump denied explicitly tying U.S. military aid to a request for a Ukrainian probe of Biden's son (and Biden). He ordered the aid to Ukraine to be held up while the Trump administration explored whether Zelensky, the country’s new president, was pro-Russian or pro-Western.
That was not a crime. It was entirely within his right and duty as President of the United States. The fact that it was not a crime is why their (Democrats) impeachment trial of President Trump failed.
