That’s like setting up the crew with camera and on scene reporter by the road and in a strong, earnest voice reporting “CNN live here by the road at rush hour, bringing you the news that cars are going by”. They then made the thrust of the article a lament, going on about how the democrats need to try to correct the public’s (very accurate) perception before the election, or suffer losses.

CNN would be good to coach the democrats on lying and disinformation to “correct” the public’s understanding that this administration is pathetically incompetent and ideologically driven if they weren’t already well experienced liars. Their problem is that they are such complete failures that even with a campaign of lies and disinformation, the hole is too deep. At least I certainly hope it is - we need competent governance very badly.
