Meteorological global warming
Global warming is the big picture - ice melt, ocean temperature increases, land temp increases etc.
Local weather events caused by global warming are becoming interesting and in cases such as increased tornadic activity late in the season……dangerous.
Heavier localized snowfalls are also part of global warming as temperature gradients between cold air and warmer air collide .
High school friend who’s been a meteorologist with NWS for about 30 years and I noticed the subtle changes around 1980. At first specific to plants, flowers, and weeds continuing to grow later in the season and bloom earlier.
Unless an event such as major volcanic eruption or solar differential occurs that causes cooling , this is likely just the beginning.
