To imagine …..before human impact - the purity of nature - from Manhattan Island, down along coastal NJ and westward to an absolutely pristine Delaware River …birds, marshlands, sea creatures , huge schools of whales …..great grizzly bears …….it just goes on and on .
That’s the vision I find incredible to think of. And it lasted many tens of thousands of years as the “ modern era “ of nature . Guess I’m repeating my post but ok
