Your response is not responsive. I didn’t challenge the issue of climate change or of the statements that it’s man made. I suggested you might be interested in the analysis of a competent academic who is very on board with the idea of climate change, but his analysis suggests that we are accepting some bad information, leading to hysteria and that the mainstream approach to moving away from fossil fuel is a poor one. The extent to which we’re taxing the poor by encouraging high energy costs is, in my view, obscene.
There will almost certainly be people who die of the cold, not able to afford fuel to heat their residences and people on the low end of the income scale are being generally brutalized. Rampant inflation isn’t helping retired fixed income people either.
If you don’t want to broaden your perspective by reading Prof. Lomborg’s material, by all means don’t, but you might show enough respect to respond in some sensible way. I had hoped we might have a respectful discussion of some of the issues you’re concerned about - is that possible?
