I will add the trim tabs to the list as you know on the Chesapeake chop is pretty much the norm sometimes you get calm but usually will kick up a little sometimes a lot. The closest I ever thought I was gonna die on a boat was on the bay during a summer squall. One of those bad storms that comes out of nowhere literally was dropping golf ball size hail on us and waves coming over a 26 footer from different directions. So if I need to make a run for the river I want to be as quick as possible
