True, but it didn't change the number of justices, just who they were. Your example is poor at best because it doesn't answer the question that was asked, it just points to something totally different, as though that was somehow relevant.

FYI .....the Supreme Court is not limited to 9 members and the number has varied through our history .

A little history lesson for you. For over 150 YEARS the number of seats on the supreme court has stood at 9 seats. Originally the number was 6 back in the 1700's but as the Country grew more seats were added until we reached the present number in 1869. In 1937 Roosevelt tried to pack the court so he could get his New Deal (Hmmm.... where have I heard that phrase before?) laws passed but was ultimately defeated in his plan. While you are correct that the number of seats has varied it has NEVER been more than 9 seats total. (In fact, Biden himself, back in 1983, called the idea of packing the court a "boneheaded idea" A "terrible, terrible" plan).
