Well she sold a few days ago. I managed not to cry, but did have a huge lump in my throat.
She'lll be living on freshwater on Lake Murray in South Carolina now. Super nice and knowledgable guy bought her and has joined the site.
Phatdaddy, I'm pretty much there. The wife and I cruised the trawler this past winter for three months and it reaffirmed our desire to leave the rat race. It had crossed my mind to use the V20 in tow, but you should see the looks I get from some of the self righteous sailboaters when I show up at a dinghy dock with a 14 foot center console panga.
I hope y'all let me still hang around here some. This is the best group of folks on the net.

I'm glad she went to a good home, but sorry that she's sold.
Yesterday I just got back from two weeks on Cape Cod with the new-to-me Fish Beware that I purchased. I gave my old 18 foot fish-n-ski to my neighbor as a gesture of good will, but he really loved my V20 so much, that I came back here to see if yours was still available. Add to that, within the first three days, my old boat blew a head gasket, leaving my neighbor hungry for a new motor or a whole new boat. I feel bad for the guy, and am looking to see if I can help him find a good deal on a clean engine, or maybe even a new boat. I'm glad I didn't sell him my old boat. You ruin friendships if you *sell* your old boat to a friend and the motor blows, but you keep a good friend if you *give* them your old boat and they have trouble.
I guess you never know, but the motor did have a water pressure gauge and a temperature gauge, so I still suspect that if he had more experience with the boat, he would have noticed the performance issues, seen an anomaly on the gauges and shut 'er down before catastrophic damage occurred -- I guess that comes with experience.
Glad your boat went to a good home. I'll keep my eyes open for a nice boat or a good motor for my neighbor. Also, I'll start my own thread about my experience with Fish Beware. It's not a fully restored boat with all of the upgrades that you put into your boat, but she is a nice, clean, original boat that shows that it had lots of love and TLC over the years -- so it's the perfect boat for me to have, love and upgrade over time. With the money I spent refurbishing the trailer, plus the money on accessories like Bennett Trim Tabs, a new swim platform, raw water wash down pump, bronze through hull with a proper bronze seacock and clam shell through hull and more, I'll soon be at or above your your selling price, but outfitting a boat is part of the fun... plus, my boss (read WIFE), had given me a firm budget of what I could spend on a new-to-me boat, so it was important that I stick within that number, even if I later spend more money on refitting items and upgrades -- after all, *everyone* knows that when you get a new-to-you boat, the spending has only just begun! :-)
Anyway, not to hi-jack your thread, I'll get back on topic. It sounds like you have a great setup with your Trawler and your Penga. If you ever head up to the Chesapeake bay or Potomac river, give me a shout, and maybe I can meet you on the water.
