One thing I did that helped with the water in the floor problem was when I replaced the floor drains I cut off enough of the threaded part that it I could then use the angled fitting on the bottom as the locking nut.

This made the bottom of the floor drain where the hose connected about an inch higher, thus mostly stopping water from coming in from outside in fairly calm conditions. It still came in when rocking and rolling but it improved things.
