Taking on some water???
Hello everyone! Thanks for the add! I got an 86 v20 dual console sport fish about a month ago maybe?? I’ve taken it out on the coast of Southern California and I’ve noticed that when we pull the drain plug a ton of water is coming out. Maybe 5 gallons?? I’m not so sure how accurate that estimation is. Turns out the weak bilge pump that was in there was turning on but not actually pumping. I went out and bought a 1200 because that one was a 450. So we shall see how that works. But my concern is where is the water coming from in the first place?? I e read about thru hulls and deck drains and rub rails I don’t know how to go about attacking any of those tasks and I don’t have a ton of cash. What recommendations do you guys have?
