I've always thought of those eyes as "towing" eyes, never for lifting. Go to a marina and they will put straps under the boar to lift. I've never seen a boat lifted with the eyes.
If it was me:.........
and I had a roller trailer I'd pull the boat off the trailer about a foot. Paint the bottom and then wait at least 24 hours for the paint to dry and harden, then winch the boat back on the trailer and paint the bare spots.
and I had a bunk trailer I'd jack up the rear of the boat, paint everything and then wait for the paint to dry and harden, then lower the rear back down and jack up the front to paint any portion missed the day before.

If God didn't have a purpose for us we wouldn't be here, so
Live simply, Love generously, Care deeply, Speak kindly.
(Leave the rest to God)
Silence, in the face of evil, is itself evil. Not to speak is to speak, not to act is to act. God will not hold us guiltless.
