They were all built the same way, glass over plywood. Depending on how they were treated they can be great or crap. That is a quirk of every boat built with plywood....or glass over foam for that matter.

Trailer queens under trees for years can be ugly. Blocked drains and standing water equal rotten plywood.
late 80s &90s versions had foam in voids which can saturate under that condition.

20 or 30 years of transducer screws in transoms, screws in the deck....

All that being said, they are great boats when taken care of. Good Luck and lets see some pictures when you get it.
