I just replaced mine (84 cuddy) and it wasn't too bad. Like Franco said pull the rod box and the deck over the tank and the inspection plate behind the fill. The hardest part was getting the old hose out, it was the orignal and very stiff. The new one went in easy because it was so limber. Make sure the fill neck on you tank is in good shape. On mine the steel wire in the hose was touching the aluminum tank an it ate holes in the neck.
