Bottom fishing
ran out 20miles to the Shark River Reef with some clam
I know I know, seabass, blackfish and porgies are completely closed til July 1st.
... looking for cod.
Found a nice pollack and a bucket of ling(red hake).
Pollack hit a teaser as I pulled a skate off the bottom on the jig.
Got hounded by bergals anytime we got on a rock pile.
We moved over to the Stolt wreck and found ling on bergal fillets....
