Sounds $teep but really depends on what its made of and whether you need it to support a person.
My top has a 1" honeycomb core with glass and gelcoat on both sides. Total overkill. It was $3200 including the whole aluminum structure and 6 rod holders, installed in 2002? I think
I've seen 1/4" solid fiberglass tops...dunno how much$$
