Most lakes in southern Alberta are catch and release good to catch a decent sized walleye. lesser slave lake were I spend my summer we're only aloud 1 fish per person per day 43cm and up for size restriction. Used to be able to keep five per person years ago to many fisherman to few lakes out here. We get lots of small walleyes 3-4 lbs very few above that now days.
