I did see the adapter, and the price! For that much $, I am more than willing to spend the time re-wiring it myself. But I really want to be sure if I will not run into issues like switching the ignition to +12V versus switching to ground.

Im glad to know the BRP is a good unit, but i am also open to other models. I don't know enough to decide what i should get. That's where advice is most valuable. I don't want to conduct a $300 experiment only to try to return it (or buy another $300 worth of adapters and cables)
