I had a 17 foot Grady White lapstrake hull wood boat back in the 70's. Pretty boat for sure, but the maintenance was horrible to say the least. I'd be willing to bet that the people buying these Van Dam boats are not doing the maintenance themselves. As for me, give me fiberglass any day. Might not be as pretty, but it will sure last a long time with far less care.

If God didn't have a purpose for us we wouldn't be here, so
Live simply, Love generously, Care deeply, Speak kindly.
(Leave the rest to God)

Silence, in the face of evil, is itself evil. Not to speak is to speak, not to act is to act. God will not hold us guiltless.
