check the tires, if it has the original tires or even size of tires, look at the posted max weight of each tire and add it together. . Go one step futher and look at the axle, most have the weight capacity stamped on the axle. That would be the maximum load of the trailer including the trailer. I've seen some trailer manufcatures list two or even three differnet weight class trailers that have the same frame, with the only difference is the axle and tires. It will give you something to go by, but not necesarily the recomended weight of the trailer manufacture(never excede their weight)
