There are too many parts on this subject but it has been rumored that within 3 months the northern counties including Metro Atlanta will have completely depleted their available water supply.
At this point most of the involved counties and cities have a total ban on any type of outdoor watering. The landscapes, amusements, carwash, etc. have been declared expendable to conserve the resource.
This also affects the neighboring states as to downstream effects.
The Corps of Engineers, Georgia Power, state and federal agencies are at this point unsure how to proceed and are in conflict.
