There's more to a prop than just pitch...diameter and cup come into play as well...not to mention number of blades...I believe on these deep V hulls of ours, you'll get best performance from a large diameter prop...my Honda 150 had a SS, 15.25" diameter x 17p x 3 blade and it was dialed in pretty good

Destroyer is right, too...your engine's manufacturer states a max RPM for your motor...your prop should allow your boat to top out AT or as close as possible to that number w/a light load, top down and calm water...w/the motor trimmed high
