I have seen a lot on the sites you referred me too and I don't think it would be possible to turn my engine to 6500rpm its one big 4cyl its the torque of the engine im looking at more air more fuel and more compression gives more twisting affect on internals ---im not looking for high rpms im looking at making good figures at 5500rpm making power at 6500rpm will mean I will loose a lot of idle quality and low end torque not what I want in a fishing boat. this is why I have said im going solid in the cam grind it will not cost me any extra as I had to buy all the gear for the head the solid cam will give me a wider and longer torque rang and if the edelbrock head could run stock rocker gear I would of left it stock . yes I do need to start some action and get this boat in the water to see if it is as good as I thought
