Sad, my 1985 Johnson 150 would push my V20 28mph. Safe to say she was only putting out 90 horses. But she made up for it in reliability. I hope my Mercury holds up as well! I think a 130 or a 150 will do fine. But I am not excited about your engine choice. A good friend just bought a 60 ETEC. He has had it a year and about seven months it spent in the shop. It would run fine going out but coming in it would miss and shake like crazy. Five dealers later he may have it fixed with a new Ecm. I would buy a Mercury or an older Johnson or Evinrude before a new ETec. But this is just my opinion.
