They're decent hulls, but has less dead rise than the V-20 has at 16 degrees. That's why it gets good milage and speed numbers from the 200. Down side is you WILL have to slow down in the chop, and they are said to pound noticeably. They are good at anchor and troll with the low dead rise. I see alot of the cuddy cabin models for sale, but not so many center console versions. WELLCRAFT made ALOT of them for a long production run starting in the early 80's with the 228 and later on it was carried on under the 230 until about 93 or 94 when they went to the new style hull shapes.
