sit down, take a couple hundred dollar bills, set fire to each one, one at a time, after you've burnt up four or five and you didn't have a fit, you're ready for a bigger boat! the worse thing I could do to some one is talk them into a buying a boat.


Seriously, check it out like you would a car, check compression and spark, check the fluids and levels. Start it up and run it, if it will turn over 4000 rpm while under way, its probably good to go as far as the engine. Check the shifting, should go in and out of each gear the same, yes it will make a noise when it goes in, thats normal. Listen for grumbling or bearing noises, turn the wheel side to side and see if the noise gets worse(it will make noise hard over). Take a good look at the rubber boots on the drive, they should feel pliable, but not cracked or feeling like you should be able to stick your finger thru it.
