Oz, what you described is EXACTLY where we are headed, Greece, Spain Italy, etc.
They are making drastic cuts, pensions have been reduced, medical benefits are being cut from a already asinine socialist system in which doctors have fled and seniors are left to waste away.
Police and Emergency services are being cut.
Taxes are skyrocketing. France has instituted a 70% tax on so called millionaires.
The reason for all of this is they failed to head the warnings from those fiscally responsible people in their nations that have been warning about it.
Some of their cultures are incapable of being responsible and expect to be taken care of from cradle to grave due to decades of socialism.
We are about three percent of our population from being that majority dependent society.
This is freakin America

I know Romney is not the favorite of many but he does represent a change in direction. He is also not a right wing ideologue, I believe responsible reductions in the welfare state are needed immediately and we know Obama and the demo'progressive party will not do anything but increase our dependency. It is how they maintain power.
We need to get Romney in and force him to institute permanent changes.
Get involved with Tea Party Groups of your neighbors so we keep pressure on all of them in office.
We as Americans, this generation need to step up and save our Nation for our kids and their kids.
We need it now.
