Default The good, the bad and the ugly

Went to check her out. First the good. The transom seemed to be solid. The bad, I detected a little bit of give in the hatch over the fuel tank and the deck got softer the further aft you went from there. There was a very tired looking depth / fish finder, but no radio / gps / etc. I asked if the raw water wash down worked, the owner was not sure so I'm guessing it doesn't. Fuel gauge not working, reads full all the time. The port side by the oil tank had standing water in it. A clogged drain no doubt and then whatever problem there may be depending on how long that water has been sitting in there. Overall, a tired looking boat that would have benefited from a little more TLC over the years. And finally the ugly, see the picture, the gelcoat has been "repaired" but not properly. The damaged area covered the entire port side and the bow also had some damage from beaching. Nothing to report on the motor. Too much of a restoration project on the hull for my taste so I never even started the motor or looked under the cover.
