Lightbulb trex/hitch rod rack

Here's a pix of somethin I whipped up with an old trailer hitch and a piece of trex lumber.
screwed 2 layers together(make sure you don't screw down layers where the rod holes will go),
Drilled a hole for the bolt in bottom layer and wider hole in middle layer to accomodate the bolt head
bolted to hitch where the ball would be,
screwed in 2 pieces of angle aluminum to keep it from spinning,
then added another layer on top (hides the bolt head).
Use a spade bit to drill holes for rods.
Routed for smooth edges.

This one worked out to be the perfect height on my Explorer, level with bumper. Glass opens with rods in place and gate opens without the rods.
