				Here's an update to my last post. I ran the 17p Solas SS and I could only turn @5800 but I still ran 32mph. I changed to the 15p Solas ss and got my rpm's back to 6000 but I think I topped out @ 30mph. The way that I use my boat I prefer the higher rpms over the speed. I'm sticking with the 15p for my use. I did notice prop chatter at the low speeds that I didn't have with the aluminum.

 A general rule of thumb is that you always drop a notch when you switch from Aluminum to Stainless, due to the flex of the prop blades.  So a 17P Alum is equal to a 15P stainless.
