I am going with led strip lighting under my gunwales, The advantage of putting them under the gunwales is that its indirect light meaning its not blinding you at night when fishing or running. You can buy them in 16' rolls and the cool thing about them is you can cut them every three led's and still wire it up and use that length of strip light. Im gonna be doing some 3 led strips in my hatches and bilge area and in some spots under my t-top. I bought 2 cool white 16' led strip lights and 2 blue led 16' light strips. each gunwale will get a full 16' foot length of blue and white on each side so I can change colors.
