I'm going with jsgrorge4x4 on using a fibreglass or plastic snake.  They're not that expensive, and you can buy them @ Harbor Freight now for a lot less than the Klien Tools one that I bought at my neighborhood electrical supply house.  I have my trusty old metal snakes, but the plastic ones are a lot more forgiving and flexable when your going around bends and sweeps.
