The rubber plumbing part you can use is called a Gem Cap (Home Depot) I am actuall thinking of cutting the top of the rod boxes and sleeving the rod holder through it. it will only extend down an inch or so , you wont see it and it will for sure drain on deck when those stupid rubber caps break .
