More sanding and painting than actual grinding in my opinion. Probably has some soggy foam. Has a couple coats of paint that need to be taken down, plus a bunch of old hardware that could be scrapped. Seeing your work on your console she'd be beautiful when you finished. She really has beautiful old school lines, a sharp entry with a big flare. Built like a tank. The big "coffin" box" is factory original and part of the entire console mold. She's one of the biggest 17 footers you'll see. If you don't like this one I've got another one that needs less sanding, has the original gelcoat, and already has the transom demo done. Hell, come get both, just leave the one console for Spare. I need to break down and get a camera.
