I hear you about original Lathehand and Reel has a good point also. The 10" Garmin has never been more out of reach. I hate having to look down and right to see what the engine is doing at speed. Need eyes downstream if you know what I mean.
I have an idea that doesn't require glassing and painting, Dash panels. If I can find the right material. I could use a switch panel too. The one on the boat was made by my local trophy shop. I had them cut two and that was good because the material is too flemsy so I ended up doubling them up. It is functional but I could actually use two more switches. Maybe a splash of faux carbon fiber?
