DAMMMMMM!!!! Lucky as hell!!!!!
I fill our propane at our hardware store for my Garden Center thats only 1/4 mi apart. I never had to strap the tanks due to the short distance and the fact I would drive slowly but I would secure them in place on their side where they wedged between both sides of the truck bed.
Needless to say I had a lady pull out in front of me which sent 160lbs of propane hurdling toward the front of the cab. It was one of those "Jesus take the wheel moments".........I closed my eyes and let out a subtle "oh sh#t" before not-so-politely informing the lady she would have taken out half the block with her stupidity.
Never again.......strapped everytime, its not worth it.........
