It's funny...that's exactly the reason I was turned off by country music for such a long time... Your Cheating Heart with the twang of the guitar and the fiddle was more than I could take. It wasn't till I was lots older and was dating a young lady from NC that I began to take notice of how much the music had evolved over the years. Not going to bore anyone with my favorites vs their favorites... everyone has their own opinions.. just stating for the record that modern country music has a place on my cars radio dial now.
