Well, the best laid plans of mice and men, etc, etc, etc.... I called the guy today to tell him that he had a sale... was not able to reach him all day. He finally just called me about 10 minutes ago...
He sold the boat to someone else this afternoon. Took a $500 deposit... I am so
very bummed right now it's hard to even express how much. I
really wanted that boat.. it was everything I was looking for and more.
Told me that the other buyer has to sell his boat, and that he said he'd have the rest of the cash this weekend, so I guess there is a
very, very,
small chance that the other buyer might not be able to complete the transaction and I can get her, but I won't hold my breath.
