There needs to be a balanced approach to conservation. IMO this is the typical knee jerk reaction when the govt. is convinced to step in and regulate/tax an industry where there is no teeth to the law and little if any regulation, then the pendulum swings the other way whereby they add teeth/over-regulate to the point of ridiculous. Nobody has the forsight to contemplate the unintended consequences. It doesn't matter, if the law is hurting jobs or businesses. On the hill all is quiet, no problems, because the flow of money to the dimwhits passing the legislative tripe has not been interrupted.
The product seized must have come thru customs. Why was it not red flagged then and there. To disrupt the flow of business at the guitarmakers facility is pure nazi tactics.
