That has been one of the major problem, parts available.
The idea was good but it opened another can of worms.
Corrosion seems to have been the main issue with that setup. Besides the trim portion, the engine itself would regularly get swamped and sprayed. If cleaned as it should have been it would have been no issue. It's real hard to out thing the average consumer.
A true bracket can swamp and spray the engine but usually not as bad as the Seadrive or at least not as often.
Seadrives are not that bad to recon the weight distribution, brackets on the other hand need consideration for that much weight being pushed toward the rear.
