Shawsee, I'm also hooked on fishing Block Island RI, as you know the SW Ledge is quite a run out there, approx. 18 miles one way, well worth the 20 to 25 gallons of gas burned playing all day. I might go broke with all this fishing but from now on I'll be going there everytime the weather allows me to.
No Trigger fish for us, on the other hand we must have caught and released well over 50 seabass that were just shy of being keepers.

My boat uses just about the same amount as yours does. I have an 83 Johnson 175 that still runs great but also likes the fuel. The most fuel I have used venturing out there and back to Point Judith was 35 gallons but that was also an all day event from 4 am till 5 pm. I love to troll with the 9.9 Evinrude which uses minimal fuel but I still end up using 20/25 gallons along with the 175 which isn't bad considering. Do you hit the "Black Rock" point off of the Southwest Corner? If not make sure you try it and drift a couple of eels off of the boulder field below. You should be in about 25/30 feet of water and check your depthfinder/sonar for structure below. Great fishing off of that point. I am with you on, "I can't wait to go back!"
