Next year if i fish the shark tourney in my V20, i think i will have some work to do to the boat. The swim platform will definitely have to come off, so i can bring sharks around the boat if need be. Doel-fins will stay off the motor, just something else to snag a line on. Then i have to figure out how to get around the splashwell and motor if i have to.
I have lost a few cobia in that position. But then agian if somebody can run the boat, we can keep the shark on one side, and not have to play ring around the V20.
Also i plan to have a hard top with lifting eyes by next year. It was nice being able to winch that monster in using come alongs and not having to lift it manually. (Captain Jims boat had a solid transom and no door)
