Default Trailer set up opinions please

My trailer gives me a problem loading and un-loading with the bowsprit and anchor striking the front post on launch and recovery as Ozzie and Lee can attest to.
Now I remove the anchor and if the ramp is not too steep I can clear and pull up to the stop, if it is steep like I find some pl;aces like the one in Barnegat Bay it is a jockey shift and push exercise to get it on without striking.
So, my question is this, looking at the pic below, can I lower my winch and platform on the post and have the cable come over the top of the two rubber stops, or do I have to have the cable come through in between the two rubber stops?
