Nip - Upon inspection, that's what I've decided to do, and started the project tonight.

The seat vinyl is actually in solid condition, as well as the foam.

It was the lousy plywood which I assume original that rotted out.
So.........I've removed it from the boat, disassembled, cleaning the vinyl etc.......
I'm using the remaining plywood pieces to trace out replacement using pressure treated or marine grade, plus applying a barrier coating.

I'll invest some man hours, but hopefully save some $$$ and still have it " original"......
Frame was in ok condition.
