Actually no, the people donate their boats, cars, etc... to this organization and get a tax write off for the value of the boat. The organization in turn sell the boat and profits are used to fund their work. Usually the boats are too costly for the current owners to justify fixing, crap destined to be scrapped, but one mans trash is another treasure.
