I always carry two extra 6 gal plastic tanks of straight fuel. My kicker is a 4 stroke and this feeds them, but in a pinch I can always add some 2 stroke oil to them and have an extra 12 gals. for emergency use on the big engine. Just seems the prudent thing to do. Why put all your eggs (or fuel) in one basket?
