Hey ferm, have you tried an ultrasonic? I started with this one from harbor freight http://www.harborfreight.com/25-lite...ner-95563.html Once i figured out how well it works I bought one of these http://www.***elsmall.com/ulcaclsysh.html. I still use the Yamaha cleaner when I get some green parts. But by using the ultrasonice, I've only been thru 2 qts of Yamaha in hte past year. I just add a little purple power to teh water. My wife likes it because the house doesn't smell like carb cleaner. as far as injcetors go, there are several local shops that clean them in house using an ultarsonic. But htey don't have the tools to measure flow. They check pattern, but thats about it. Thats why i use injectorrx. they clean them, put new screens inthem, and flow test each one, They give you a nice chart showing the flow before and after that i give a copy of to my customers. That way they can see it was an issue. My thinking is on a marine efi system , it won't know if its a lttle lean unitll you burn a piston.
