I have the Furuno 620 and love it so I totally disagree with the above statement.
Speaking for the my FF, it is VERY clear even on bright sunny days, one can change the LCD background color for night or what have you, also I can read fish as deep as 200 feet at 40 MPH.......beat that! :-*
