haven't had too much free time lately.have been to our statehouse twice in the last 2 weeks politicing pretty hard.i'd bet you've quite possibly seen it on the news.like Wisconsin,our governor is trying to take away our collective bargaining rights and all he has managed to do so far is rile up every firefighter,police officer and all other union workers here in Ohio.if it happens it won't be worth it to be a firefighter here in Ohio.in fact,if his bill passes i will be a firefighter with 21 years of service and quite possibly be eligible for government assistance!
it's sad that we do the job we do and now have to fight to keep our rights.

the march included firefighters from all over Ohio and stretched for about a mile.

the crowd was estimated at over 5,000 people.our governor locked us out in an attempt to prevent us from attending the hearing.a call to the AG's office and the threat of a lawsuit got us in!
