Economy and real estate crash here put that to rest. I did acquire the boat for what I thought to be a great deal considering the newer power, and with the intent to sell for a profit despite the I/O set-up not being the most practical for the Keys and or South Florida. That is why I really appreciate being here as I could see this baby going North to fresh water and or to a family that may have grew up with one of these classics. The Keys are pretty busy now with the snow birds, so not the worst time to sell here. Took her on a sea trial today (it's sunny and in the 70's here!) and she really runs out nice despite a hesitant idle. Going to replace the water seperator / fuel filter and go from there as the boat had not been run off the trailer in a couple of years. May need a carb cleaning? Thanks again for the thoughts on all! I will consider any reasonable offers. . . Bob
If she's idling rough but runs good, to me that says the idle jet(s) need to be cleaned. A carb cleaning can't hurt in all cases. Run some Seafoam through her and see if that doesn't help a lot.

If God didn't have a purpose for us we wouldn't be here, so
Live simply, Love generously, Care deeply, Speak kindly.
(Leave the rest to God)

Silence, in the face of evil, is itself evil. Not to speak is to speak, not to act is to act. God will not hold us guiltless.
